I also want to know who is responsible for the output, maybe that's whose speech is free? Is the onus on the publisher of the material, the person who formulated the prompt, or the company who provided the service of generating the information? I don't think there are clear-cut answers at the moment.

The constitution couldn't have predicted the current scenario, and I'm curious how the scholars int he US will apply it's tenets to this issue. I've mentioned it before in jest, but maybe we can get "does AI have free speech" out of the way before an AI connected humanoid robot can try to defend itself legally?
