Let's just say I was old enough to drink when I trained in Draft V6.  Have been generating code and modifying posts since V8 and V9 and they were current versions when I was using them.
I've been an observer on this forum for years, only created an account because Dylan was here discussing 2026 version release and features.  But I only had the Industrial tab saved as my landing spot, so I didn't figure out there was this whole other loony tunes side show for another little while.  And then I was just blown away by some of the stuff being said by some of the folks I've 'known' from my participation on other mastercam forums.  Figured it's fair game to yank their chains a bit.

A high-profile MAGA figure who knows how to draw attention from the media and has secured a lot of trust from the Republican base is calling out the party's leaders as wrongheaded.

If Obama Care rates are going to double, isn't that the failure of how it was designed? If I were in their shoes then I wouldn't buy any insurance and take my chances. With high out of pocket costs for Obamacare I find it worthless anyway.

As always the leaders of congress and whoever they're conspiring with (mega corporations and billionaires) throw out a huge bill and demand a vote before congress critters even know what's in it. That's been how both parties operate for several decades now.

In a perfect world the Dems should just vote for whatever the Repugs want, keep the government funded, and then when the rates double next year it might wake some people up and make them understand what they voted for.

But in reality Trump is going to blame any health care increases on illegal immigrants, trans people, and the radical left. Trumpers won't ever connect the increases to the bill they passed.

More a failure of how repugs allowed it to be implemented.  The goal was/is single-payer, but the fair and balanced can't wrap their heads around the difference between a little bit of socialism, and communist gulags.  So it was only ever created as a 'fair-market' for-profit health insurance 'marketplace' with the usual 'capitalist' give-aways to corporations, and their shareholders.  Taxpayer money from the folks that actually pay taxes, given to the corporations and investment class who don't.  Ya know, free market capitalism working its best life, just as intended by the people who bought and paid for the rule book.
