Well, I haven't got photos, but got back from a two week break, and we now have a new Okuma MA600H-III horizontal on the floor.

Big Plus 50 taper, ten pallets, 285 tools, and RFID tool tagging. A new Zoller presetter is on its way, and they will be linked together with TopSolid Shopfloor.

It will be a good project getting these up and running

Several products. Initially pump components, including pump bodies with 300mm plus bores. Ideal for Turn Cut. We'll mount multiples on fixtures, and run them lights out.

Nice looking machine. I ran an Okuma MA600H-II for a few months, it only had 2 pallets.

One time the tool transfer arm in the back hung up, took half a day for someone to realize there was a chip on one of the sensors (or somewhere it shouldn't have been, can't remember exactly).

No, I dont think so . We have an old Okuma MB56 that needed to be supplemented with a more capable replacement. And with Turn Cut, we could incorporate some lathe parts/operations, and run lights out, so it kind of made sense.
