No Kings

There was a small local protest in our town over the weekend. about 30 people showed up. There was a FB post about it in a local FB group about our town.

2 things I noticed:
1) people don't seem to understand it, most people who voted for Trump just said, something like, I don't like kings either. Some thought it had to do with something going on in England. And didn't understand why anybody was cared here.

2) Why do so many of them wear masks to an outside protest? Is it still about Covid fears, or are they trying to hide their identity? I really don't get that.

3) there is a building in town that has signs on it that was from local democrat party hq during the election. there are faded signs in the windows, the grass is tall growing through the gravel parking lot. it has become an eye sore. and a really bad look for the party. someone should have thought to clean that up before the protest. seems symbolic of the DNC today.

Paid shill boomer protest. Shift ended at 1pm and everyone went back to the nursing home, I read. Every photo seems average age was 65, Grantifa sightings confirmed.

I'll have to find the exact number, but it was to the tune of $273 million funnelled into the organizers, Riot Inc., this year alone from Tides, Soros, Blackrock etc. These particular protests were planned by March/April of this year.

Some purported news footage was from Boston in 2017 as well, to show "massive crowds".

1) I can't tell you what the goal was, or why people were out there. Europe changed their signage to "No Tyrants" since they actually have Kings that they (respect?), except Newb.
2) The elderly are still worried about Covid, yes, and getting boosters every year. Some 80+ folks in the family have upwards of 10 boosters.

So none of the people Obeidallah quoted actually said they wanted a King. This was just Obeidallah's interpretation of their criticisms of Obama not doing enough? 

I did like the Matt Daemon line  "I would kiss George W. Bush on the mouth" in appreciation for his work fighting AIDS in Africa. Although Damon did note his kiss of Bush would be limited to: "Three seconds, no tongue."

We don't have a king, we have a legally elected president.
A real king would be stacking bodies and putting heads on spikes over these silly protests.

I read an article where a reporter was interviewing boomers at a protest.
They were going on and on about how well they had been trained to avoid confrontation with counter protesters.
That was pretty easy to do as there weren't many counter protesters.
It does beg the question, who was training them.....the same people who paid them perhaps??
