If those boats were indeed trafficking fentanyl

From the reports I've read, 0% of fentanyl sold in the US comes from, or goes through, Venezuela. The reports also say that Venezuela isn't a producer of fentanyl. Most of it comes from Mexico and China.

I don't know how accurate those reports are. Probably at least as good as the reports coming from the Whitehouse saying that there is fentanyl on those boats?

I suspect that fentanyl has nothing to do with what's going on. Newb already kinda hinted on it.

When I find a liberal that is willing to discuss the proven Biden-Ukraine corruption then I will gladly entertain a discussion on Trumps "motives" for engaging in Venezuela, until then it is just more liberal partisan bs.

But I had to ask since I was the one (technically, I think newb was making a veiled accusation as well) questioning his motives. I would think that any principled conservative would as well. If there are any of those left. Speaking of that, where is Tulsi Gabbard?  Probably out trying to find those "America first" non-interventionist  principles she lost?

I think there are still principled conservatives but they've left the Republican party. I expect they'd view themselves as independents now.

I just figgered it out! While Venezuela doesn't "make" Fentanyl, they ship it thru there so they don't get tariffed coming thru China!
