Quote from: Smit on November 04, 2025, 09:29 AMYes, wild-eyed conspiracy theory syndrome is also a way of life.

Fortunately it's not as common as Republican persecution syndrome.

Or maybe it is... they're really rather intertwined.
As usual, Brandolini's law is in full force
Obviously Buyed-In never did that "little bit of persecution" then

Quote from: Newbeeee™ on November 04, 2025, 09:03 AMToo dim to realise that 81 mill *never really* voted for Creepy Slow Buyed-In....

This is why those of us who live in reality get so frustrated. There has never been any proof that the election was stolen, or rigged, or compromised, or anything. Yet you guys still cling to your little fantasy, which unfortunately, is bolstered by nutters on forums such as this one.

Quote from: gcode on November 04, 2025, 09:06 AMThe simple fact is, there is no common ground.

I've always thought, and maybe naively, that there was more common ground than people are willing to admit.

There is something strange about a political environment where people are amazingly split straight down the middle on every single subject or policy. It's almost as if it were by design, and people who fall in to the trap can't get out of their own way to see that. Even when they say that they do.

Or at least that's what it seems like.

they don't like you and hate everything you believe in and stand for  ::)

Does it make you dislike them and hate everything they believe in? That's the impression I get from your post.

Quote from: gcode on November 04, 2025, 09:06 AMEven after something as awful as 911, the unity and common purpose didn't last a week.
That's because it was an inside job, so Cheney could de-nationalize Iraqi oil fields and open them up to Western Capitalism as God intended.

The fact that I have to spell it out for you is as silly as you continuing to tell us that the 2020 election was stolen.

The only attempt to steal that election was the call the orange idiot made to Georgia, that should have landed his ass in jail.  The thing we fucked up is that we took too long to process the court case, unlike Brazil who managed to solve their judicial problems with prior criminal leaders in just three years.
"Former Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro was sentenced to 27 years and three months in prison for a coup plot following the 2022 election. The conviction and sentencing were delivered by the Brazilian Supreme Court after a majority ruling found him guilty of attempting to stay in power after his electoral defeat." - Oddly, on Sept.11, 2025.  Coincidence, I think not.

Had the 3 tiny terrorists up for the weekend. I am still trying to recover.

The energy brought to bear by three feral children 1.5-5 years old is really something.

You guys, many of advanced age, come close to rivaling it.

It's really pretty impressive.
