Yes between the insane housing prices and the current interest on mortgages, young families have no chance of buying their first home.
All the homes in my neighborhood are being purchased by investors and turned into rental units.

Even then it takes 2 or even 3 families living in each house to pay the rent.

That's everywhere, including Canada.

Beer here used to be really fun and exciting and then too many people and money that didn't care got involved. Still some good stuff around though.

Tough to eek out a living with high middle class earning, gotta love doing things outside of your house to live here

Those are always fun.

Gonna miss my chance this year. Normally I have a KC stop on our hunting trip to western Kansas. This year the boy kid says we are driving the 17 hours straight through.

Unless... Now here me out, Larry... You are retired. Not like you have to get up in the morning. We should be passing through next Thursday at 2-3AM. Gotta be a bar open in town somewhere. :fun:

Haha, well, a bar open at 3AM on Thursday (Friday morning?) might be tough to find in this part of the country but if you stop by my place I'll have a small selection of bourbon and brews, plus you'll likely need a bathroom break too.

We'll have to hold down the sound though, 'cuz my wife still does that work thing and if you meet her then she "might" not be her best, most cheerful self.   :hrhr:

I'll go back to being a conservative, when conservatives go back to being conservative.

Yeah... We wouldn't want that.

Putting up with you loafing about in retirement while she still slaves away is enough to make a woman disagreeable. I don't want to add to her burden.
