Breaking news...

Adelita Grijalva sworn in as the House's newest member, paving the way for an Epstein files vote

Excerpt:
QuoteWASHINGTON (AP) — Democrat Adelita Grijalva was sworn in as the newest member of Congress on Wednesday, more than seven weeks after she won a special election in Arizona to fill the House seat last held by her late father.

Grijalva was sworn in by House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., on Wednesday shortly before the House returned to session to vote on a deal to fund the federal government. After delivering a floor speech, Grijalva signed a discharge petition to eventually trigger a vote to release files related to Jeffrey Epstein, giving it the needed 218 signatures.

QuoteGrijalva had said she would join the petition from Rep. Thomas Massie, R-Ky., after taking office, giving it the 218 signatures needed. Three Republicans have signed onto Massie's petition — Reps. Lauren Boebert of Colorado, Nancy Mace of South Carolina and Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia.

President Donald Trump has been reaching out about the Epstein petition to Boebert and Mace, according to a person familiar with the effort who was not authorized to discuss it publicly.

Trump could be captured on video raping a seven year old boy and none of his supporters would change their opinion of him.

Funny how cults work.

I think this one might hit a little harder. I've read that 40% of Trumpers disapprove of his handling of the Epstein files, so maybe 20% of them might actually hold it against him.

That might just be wishful thinking though.

Fair enough. It's totally possible that 20% of Trump supporters aren't totally worthless.

I was waiting for one of the esteemed republican posters to bring this up

I'm afraid you'd have been waiting a rather long wait for that to happen.  :hrhr:

Pedo Joe rhymes, so that makes it easier to remember.
That's why I like Dump Trump.
Pedo Prez has a nice ring to it though.

Jeffrey Epstein on Trump: 'I know how dirty donald is'

It's starting to become even more clear why Trump started down the "Democrat hoax" road.

Nothing new has been released.

QuoteThe recently released Epstein emails were not previously made public. They were newly disclosed on November 12, 2025, by both House Democrats and Republicans as part of a broader congressional effort to increase transparency around Epstein's network.
