I don't like price controls. What I DO like however is if we in the US pay $100 for a prescription, someone in another part of the world pays $100 as well.

Price fixing is what American healthcare and big Pharma is all about. Seems to be working out just fine for them.

Not so much for us.

How math works.  He also got 800% more votes than Biden.  Almost a billion Americans voted for him.  How math works.

I think it's the opposite... but I could possibly be convinced otherwise.

Prescription drugs is kinda like the mastercam pricing model.   Different prices for different markets.  Probably some because of currency fluctuations after prices were set.  But most of it is "what the market will bear".  Countries with higher GDP per capita can - in theory - support a higher price for a given item.  But with drug prices there's an even weirder bit where the developed nations have been subsidizing price for less developed nations, especially for stuff like vaccines and treatments for communicable diseases.  This policy can certainly have its downside in cost to us, but the argument can be made that suppressing viral outbreaks on one continent can benefit folks on others.  I sure as hell would rather have good containment of something like ebola in West Africa, rather than creating a situation where it becomes widespread and "imported" stateside.
