That's pretty controversial right there!

google summary for "sesame street banned":
Sesame Street has been "banned" or restricted at various times due to racial integration, perceived Americanization, and authoritarian aims, though these bans were often reversed. The show was initially banned by the Mississippi State Commission for Educational Television in 1970 due to its racially integrated cast, but a public outcry led to the ban being reversed. In 1971, the BBC banned the show, citing it as too Americanized and having "authoritarian aims".
Mississippi (1970): The state's Educational Television Commission voted to ban the show because its racially integrated cast was seen as too progressive for the time. The ban was reversed after a few weeks due to public opposition.
BBC (1971): The British Broadcasting Corporation banned Sesame Street, stating it had "authoritarian aims," was too American, and used middle-class attitudes.

I mean, what's not to like about David Gentile?

"David Gentile had been found guilty for his role in what prosecutors described as a $1.6 billion scheme that defrauded thousands of investors."

"More than 1,000 people submitted statements attesting to their losses, according to prosecutors, who characterized the victims as "hardworking, everyday people," including small business owners, farmers, veterans, teachers and nurses.

"I lost my whole life savings," one wrote, adding, "I am living from check to check."
In a statement after the sentencing in May, Joseph Nocella Jr., the U.S. attorney in the Eastern District of New York, said that Mr. Gentile and Mr. Schneider had "raised approximately $1.6 billion from individual investors based on false promises of generating investment returns from the profits of portfolio companies, all while using investor capital to pay distributions and create a false appearance of success.""

Quote from: mowens on December 04, 2025, 07:16 AMWhy are they pardoning people like that and deporting people like this?

My guess is that "people like this" have nothing to offer Trump.

Jeff

"She said her family thinks her deportation isn't fair because she has no criminal record"
"This illegal alien entered the country in 2014 and an immigration judge ordered her removed from the country in 2015, over 10 years ago. She has illegally stayed in the country since."

Uhh...
She's a criminal because she is an illegal alien. Why can't these people understand the most basic part of that term?
THAT is why she got deported. But now the media is making her out to be a victim, tugging at the heartstrings and emotions of the left.

Why did someone else not get deported? I couldn't say.

Can we at least agree that "we are only deporting the worst of the worst" is bull shit?

The worst of the worst were top priority, not the only ones on the list.
