Hell I remember back in elementary school, teachers were allowed to use a paddle on us if we got out of line.

Paddling is still a thing at my daughter's school.  She's never gotten one though.

To me a strip search means taking off all your clothes, is that what's happening in this report?
Kids are traumatized about not having a phone in their hands after 2 minutes so I take that headline with a grain of salt.

I think we need to CLEARLY define what constitutes a "strip search" first. 

If this is a typical rage bait article, "strip search"  could be something as benign as "remove your jacket/hoodie/sweatshirt/sweater". 

Let's face it, "bullying" today could be anything from saying something mean all the way to heinous treatment.

I don't know if this article is true or not, but what I do know is that the school system in general is in terrible condition and should probably be redone from the bottom up.

If that is accurate, I would definitely qualify that as a "strip search". If that was my daughter, some people would be entering the wood chipper... feet first.

If you send your kids to public school, your children should be taken away from you for child abuse....

At this point i would say NOT going to school will give you a way better and more useful education.


A huge, fundamental issue in this country is the school districts and their never ending need for more cash, while never delivering on their promise...
