Hybrid models should have always been the harder push. Offer the full EV's to satisfy the "I hate kids in Congo and want them to work in the cobalt mines" crowd, then offer the hybrids for the rest of us that see the wisdom in flexibility.

I bought one here - "Mini SUV" - suzuki ignis. For the wifey, and it has a small battery under the passenger seat.
The miniest hybrid on the market to circumnavigate the BS Greenie world but it gives us 40 bucks a year road tax, and when the C40 tards implement restricted driving in town, this will be allowed to freely travel.
She first wanted another Abarth but i talked her out of it - there's so many speed bumps here and only 10% have visible paint markings, the Abarth would've had its exhaust ripped off within the month....

I sure as hell wouldn't fit in that lol.
6'1" and owned a '69 2002 and '86 325es e30 at different times, both as daily drivers for four or five years each.  Now, having anyone with legs behind me in the back seat? That's a different question entirely.
