Christmas is DEFINITELY my wife's holiday.  

Me, I'd rather get everyone a small gift, then put the rest of that money towards an experience... something they'll remember for the rest of their lives. 

That's not a hill I'm willing to die on so the status quo will remain.

My g/f and I both agreed that experiences are more important than getting shit that nobody wants. We save for specific vacations and different experiences that we know we'll both enjoy. 

I'm so glad she feels the same way as I do about that.

I asked my great nephew (3 years old) what Santa brought him for Christmas....
He got the biggest smile on his face, balled up both fists, shook them in the air and screamed TOYS!!!!!!

yep and another one down. I lost another good friend on christmas. he chose drugs. sad.
i should say no more but very talented person that could have been great in this world.
I have lost soooo many during this season. make sure to say hi to all you know, esp the ones left behind. just call and say hi.

Just curious. I could have died a few times mostly from drunk driving or being with a drunk driver. Got off the drug life when friends started freebasing.
