Stop watching CNN.

80% of Somalis are on gov't assistance.
You actually believe that these people contribute?

Tim Walz has been "working hard for years to fight fraud".  Who here believes that?

This YouTuber uncovered more in 45 minutes that Tampon Tim did in years.

I love it.

I don't live in Minnesota, so I don't know what "these people" do. I don't worry about it because I'm not a voter there.

This was a comment from Walz -

"You commit crimes, you go to jail. Doesn't matter what your race is, what your ethnicity, religion".

You don't agree with that?

Anyone who's guilty of fraud, should go to jail. What do you think should happen to everyone else?

Stop it Bucky.
Don't fucking try to twist my words to suit some demented fucking narrative you're cooking up.
You know damn well who I'm referring to.

And in case you went full retard and don't know... "these people" in this context is referring to the group that was being talked about.

There's noting racial, gender specific, sexuality specific, etc.. about that term when I used it and you fucking know it. So fuck off.

Any time someone uses a term like "these people", it's usually used in contempt.

You're not a voter in Minnesota, so why do you care so much about "these people".

Don't blame me for how you come across.  lol.

Any idea why "these people" are on public assistance?

"A recent analysis of American Community Survey data for Somali Minnesotans reports that about 70% of Somali adults are in the labor force (working or actively looking for work), which is similar to or higher than the statewide rate for all adults.

The same analysis finds that roughly 11% of Somali individuals receive cash assistance and about 31% receive SNAP/food-stamp benefits, with higher shares if you look at households instead of individuals.

The closest Walmart to me is about 18 miles. It's in Faribault MN. Faribault got in on the free money and set up a lot of Somali immigrants in public funded housing, etc. Probably 50% or more of the employees at this Walmart are Somali. They are rude and not very helpful. Most of the Woman won't speak to you if you are a man, yet they work in a customer service role. My wife says when you try to ask a question most will pretend like they don't understand you and walk away. They have not assimilated into America very well.

Then there is the crime. This is an old article, but in areas with heavy Somali immigration crime has risen drastically. If you tried to talk about it you were instantly called racist.

That's liberal thinking.... ALWAYS looking for hate speech and a victim.

If you look at it like a normal human being it's not in contempt.

If the subject were about a group of machinists running an end mill a certain way, the term "these people" is referring to that group of machinists.

I'm not responsible for how you perceive my words, that's your problem.

I live in a gated community somewhere between Seattle and Tacoma, and it's about a 90% ethnic to 10% "us people". Sorry Jeff  :D  There is a very low crime rate here unless some white crack addict breaks in and starts stealing catalytic converters. The point there is trying to relate based on my personal experience.

Why do people there continue to vote for politicians who are Somali friendly if they're such a detriment to the communities?  They make up what? about 2 percent of the population there?

probably the same reason republicans vote for people they don't like. incumbents tend to squash primary challengers and the people there would rather vote for a terrible person who support their political leanings rather than a less corrupt person outside of them.

And yet they voted for one of the most corrupt presidents ever?

Anyway, I'm just giving Jeff shit.  Only because he keeps pigeon holing me. I figure I'd do the same in return.

interesting stat:
Missouri population 6.2million budget $52 billion.
Minnesota populatoin 5.8 million budget $67 billion.

the difference is 15 billion, which is very close to the amount of fraud that news sites are throwing around.

Are you saying that Biden was more corrupt than Trump?

I don't think that Biden would have stood a chance of being elected if it hadn't been for Trumps first term.
