Interestingly, Missouri is a net receiver of Federal dollars at +$3B, where Minnesota is a net sender of Federal dollars, -$50B.

Tediously going thru the site linked above, in one section it says the money includes federal contracts, and in another it says it includes transportation and defense.

Interesting that while California is the largest net sender it is also the highest gross receiver.  And Virginia is the highest net receiver, which leads credibility to military bases being included.

Also worth noting that Minnesota is the second highest per capita net sender behind only Nebraska.

I do not track all business but often wondered as large business seamed to move torwards or closer to DC and or government. I think things are a little closer to communism than most think. that would be the vision of a government that runs a country controlling business. I know that is only a part of communism but its a hell ova start.
I surely do not know what it will take to bring our individual independence back but hope it happens.
pretty sure it involves all individuals to step up. that is not within our current academic's teaching.
so not gonna trend that way. sad
