I wouldn't look at it as a "feel sorry for him" issue. The whole thing in Minneapolis, and in the country as a whole, is about right and wrong.

If they would have taken Pretti in for kicking out a tail light and prosecuted him to the full extent of the law it would have been appropriate. To execute him in the street as he tried to protect a woman from an ICE thug was not appropriate.

They have been empowered to ignore laws, ignore the constitution, ignore basic human decency. Then the leaders of our country lie to us when they know we know the truth. Many of the ICE "agents" themselves appear to be lacking in training and professionalism.

I would say that Pretti was a very passionate protestor. The people in Minneapolis are passionate protestors. When tyrannical government descends on their city they are out there protesting in brutal conditions. They are patriots.

Where are the 2A guys when tyrannical government descends on American cities?

Nowhere to be found.

Furthermore, when tyrannical government discards the constitution and rule of law the 2A guys seem to celebrate it. Pretty selective it seems.

I do feel sorry for Pretti. I feel sorry for the capital police injured by the mob on J6. I feel sorry for Ashli Babbett too.

Maybe "difficult to continue to feel sorry for him" isn't really what I mean.

It was easier to defend a guy who isn't kicking the tail lights out of CBP vehicles while armed. I'm surprised that he isn't in jail (and he should be) assuming that video is real.

I knew what you meant. But considering what is going on in this country with our federal government and their masked secret police I find it very easy to defend him.

This makes me think of the people paying to go kill people in Ukraine, except now were paying them to come here and kill people.
Them with those masks on and all tactical, "gangs" rolling around they could be anybody hired as an ICE enforcer. Maybe the protest should be say, at the capitol? or wherever the ones making policy and allowing the stone-cold killing of people.
Being dumb enough to engage with fully armed tactical thugs, with big brother on their side, and not expecting to get killed? Screams natural selection.
