Nah, it can't be that!  :hrhr:

I think at the moment it's quiet because it's hard to defend the indefensible.

I also think it's funny how so many Flee MC Trumpsters have either left or, like cowards, made frequent use of the ignore function now that there are more than one or two contributors who disagree with them.

News flash: it's not just here. Believe it or not, the mood of the country is changing, and this is the last gasp of the ignorant, uninformed, bigoted nutters before the world completely passes them by.

You could be right, but I noticed when the dog pile started to change directions (it's always been heavily right leaning until recently), the people who are accustomed to getting attaboys for their opinions, are being challenged more often. The few of us who have taken a beating for years, took those beatings and never left. Just an observation. Who's the snowflake now!?!  :D  (that's just a joke)

It's also a LOT more difficult to defend the actions of the current admin than it was last time. I don't know if that has anything to do with it?

I remember in 2016 people were falling all over themselves to talk about Trumps accomplishments.  I don't see a lot of that going on anymore.

They might be tired of arguing? There isn't much left to argue about anymore. We're damned if we do, and damned if we don't.
I'll go back to being a conservative, when conservatives go back to being conservative.

I will say this.  It's a lot more fun when you're not constantly on the receiving end of the name-calling.

Smit has easily taken as much as he's given over the years. How many times a day does he get called "smithead"?

Bucky is just on a whole other level.

I was going to say "unhinged", but that's not quite right, because there never was one installed.

Wow, that's a stretch! Their comments from the peanut gallery certainly don't seem to have slowed things down here very much; I'm cringing as I imagine the alternate reality that might otherwise have come to pass if there weren't just a few token libtards here!

Missing from most conversations (arguments?) here is the understanding that you can criticize someone else's point of view/philosophy without criticizing them personally-ditch the below-the-belt ad hominem nonsense and this place would be a lot more pleasant. Of course, most folks aren't bothered as long it's the other guy taking the flak (but they'll squeal like a stuck pig when it's their turn in the barrel)!

Disagree with this because over the last 25 years there's always been debate.
Everyone has a point of view.
But the (paraphrase) hoping gcode dies comments, were a low that I cannot ever remember being made.
Ever.
On any releated forum.

There is video from a different angle with a little more continuity.

It is really odd they didn't arrest him.  Also, you can't quite hear what is said right before he says "I think that's why they let me go."  as the agents are bailing and one of the other people (the person recording?) is asking if he's all right.
