Drove up to the top of Pikes Peak today.  Holy hell that altitude whooped my ass 14,100ft.  82°f at the base, 52° at the top.  That's some white knuckle driving at 15 mph 😂

We took the train to the top last December. Very relaxed and we all enjoyed the view.

Edit - memory now.... an old mate worked at the Austin Rover competitions dept - he used to demo the 6R4 for them amongst other things.
It was same time - late 80's - I can't remember what rally it was but I think it was Belgium.
He told me as a PR stunt, Peugeot threw a T16 around the F1 track... again I can't remember but if it was Belgium it must have been Spa?
Anyway, I do remember the lap time would have put it on the 4th row of a F1 grid.
