Oh, and fyi, I rated your post but misclicked... I was intending a thumbs up :) You actually make a good point "For the work I'm doing". All software has its strengths and weaknesses. Some are suited for certain disciplines, some are suited for others, and some are good at all, but masters of none. Like Hypermill is strong for certain parts of 5 axis, but apparently isn't so good for other machining.

To HyperShill bros... it can do no wrong, has no bugs, and is pure as the driven snow.

:coffee:

I can tell you first-hand, it sure ain't perfect (no CAM system is) and it most definitely isn't easy to use by any stretch of the imagination.

R2 is/was more frustrating than functional for us. The official "fix" was to roll back to R1. One really good way to piss people off is to charge them maintenance on a simulator for a KME tombstone and then make an update that breaks the simulator (or most files that contain a transform)...but charge for both.

Yeah, there are bunch of Fusion fanbois down here with the same attitude. They believe Fusion can do no wrong, and can handle anything.

I agree. No CAM system is perfect. They all have their strengths and weaknesses.
