Why is that? He was one of the moderators at the infamous debate. What about his co-author Alex Thompson? He's a reporter for Axios.
The book is certainly not pro Trump.
The book details how a small group of advisors, dubbed "the politburo," isolated Biden from the press, his cabinet, and even his own pollsters, especially after the debate. This inner circle filtered all information, leading Biden to believe his polling was strong because that is what they told him. Additionally, the book highlights the significant influence Jill and Hunter Biden had on his reelection bid, as well as the heavy personal toll Hunter's legal situation took on the president.
Only after a post-debate fundraiser intended to reassure donors did high-profile supporters like George Clooney and Julia Roberts see Biden's decline and call for him to drop out.

Being critical of someone you support doesn't make the critic wrong.

Well, looking at the bright side, this could make the job of POTUS a more attractive job opportunity....

Trump family deal spree could open door for future presidents to profit from office

QuoteFor decades, presidents avoided even the appearance of profiting from their office.

Harry Truman refused to lend his name to any business, even in retirement. Richard Nixon so feared a brother might profit off their ties, he had his phone tapped. And George W. Bush dumped his individual stock holdings before taking office.

President Donald Trump is taking a different approach.

The family real estate business is undergoing the fastest overseas expansion since its founding a century ago, each deal potentially shaping everything from tariffs to military aid.

Led by Eric, and his brother, Donald Jr., the family business has expanded into cryptocurrencies with ventures that brought in billions of dollars but raised questions about whether some big investors received favorable treatment in return.

That's funny shit right there.

The Clinton's couldn't scrape together a million when Bill took office. He's pocketed over $100 million, just from speaking fees. Currently worth over $240 million.

Obama also seems to have made out OK.

Are you whining or praising?

Sounds like Bill understands capitalism, and is taking advantage of a skill set that wasn't available to him before he was president.

Also, it's not even remotely the same thing as what your orange god is doing. But you knew that.

QuoteAsked to comment for this story, the White House said Trump acts in an "ethically-sound manner" and that any suggestion to the contrary is either "ill-informed or malicious." It reiterated that his assets are in a trust managed by his children and stated he has "no involvement" in family business deals.

"There are no conflicts of interest," said spokesperson Anna Kelly.

In a separate statement, the Trump Organization said it is "fully compliant with all applicable ethics and conflicts of interest laws" and added, "The implication that politics has enriched the Trump family is unfounded."

Do you know how to read? Maybe I can help. From the post I was quoting, this time slower. And louder:

Now, we've all heard of the studies that conclude that righties have lower cognitive skills than normal people, but let's choose to ignore them for the time being. First, try and look at the big bold letters. Next, try and understand that those were the words of ghuns, and the basis for his (their?) displeasure.

Get it? Got it? If you need more time, or if you need to sober up, we can try again at a later date.

Good luck 👍
