This should bring a smile to Newbee's face

or is this the same old shit in a new wrapper?

QuoteA bloodbath. A wipeout. A rout. Call it what you want, there is no understating the catastrophe that has befallen the Labour Party in yesterday's local elections. These results are not just a bruising defeat for an unpopular incumbent – they signal the beginning of the end for the so-called people's party.

On the seats declared so far, Labour is having the worst results for a governing party since the Tories in 1995, before they were cast out of power for a generation. Labour's vote share has plummeted by an astonishing 19 points since its General Election win in 2024. As results continue to come in, Keir Starmer's party is losing half of the seats it's defending. Not quite the worst-ever rate of loss for a governing party. That dishonour belongs to, er, Keir Starmer's Labour Party in May 2025.

The bloodbath for Labour is even gorier in its traditional, northern, working-class heartlands. In Hartlepool – once synonymous with Labour – all 12 seats that were up for election flipped from Labour to Reform UK. In Wigan, dominated by Labour for half a century, Labour has lost 24 out of 25 seats to Reform. In Tameside, Greater Manchester, 14 of the 15 seats defended went to Reform. The so-called red wall has been smashed by the teal tide.

Labour - "Party of the working class" and "Party of the people"

The "leader" is a institutional puppet who when questioned "Davos over Westminster", immediately with zero hesitation answered "Davos".

His previous ministerial roles were head of the Labour party during Brexit and helped paralyse parliament with structured voting.

Before this he was head of the Crown Prosecution Service - at a time when the Countries most notorious pedo (BBC TV and Radio 1 DJ) was allowed free reign - King Charleys mate.
His dept "investigated but found nothing"....

Whatever shite happens and "looks to come his and the party's way", have no doubt he'll be sitting comfortably eating a fkin big turkey at Christmas.
With a great big pension.

Having had a siesta and woken in a hump, I realise you were trying to be funny
So, the reality is, what do YOU think SHOULD happen, to "people in power" who advocate to lower the age of consent to 12 and in some cases 10?
Because that, is one of the things that was apparently being pushed by her to be changed.
Add to this, the HUGE scandals back in the day of politicians and also the boys orphanage just across the Thames, surely gives "the people in power", a bit of a bad name....especially as one cannot hypothetically advocate for Guy Fawkes anymore, as that no doubt, is now classed as an arrestable offence....
