by my calculations that's a .0433% chance of death....numbers right?

edit: if you watch the world population meter, it just keeps going up....

You can't go with dividing and finding a % using the world population. If we did that (comparing to the vaccines), than vaccine side effects would be mathematically zero. Total cases / total deaths is the most accurate means we have calculating the fatality rate of COVID (and that's also got issues).

Please, vaccines have ALWAYS had side effects. There has ALWAYS been allergic reactions to vaccines....

A vaccine is not made for an individual, they are made for the larger pool of people.

I've not looked recenter at the numbers but I am guesstimating here, there have been over 2oo million doses administered...last I saw there was less than 5k deaths...

by my math that's a .000025% rate...

Let's be honest

There hasn't been 5k deaths from all other vaccines in the last few decades. The rate of incident is exponentially higher than other vaccines.

The death rate here in MN for Covid in people under 50 is about .004%. So my risk of getting Covid and dying, getting Covid from the vaccine, or having a reaction to the vaccine are all extremely minute. Why take the vaccine?

This isn't directed at anyone personally, but I have started to notice a trend in my personal life. The numbers and studies show that people that are overweight, out of shape, and have other lifestyle created chronic illness like type 2 diabetes, heart disease, etc, are the ones dying from Covid. They are also the people that seem to be getting the most worked up about people not getting the vaccine. I have extended family and friends that are freaking out because they think Covid is the plague. They are all in everybody's business about getting the vaccine.

IMO, a bunch of people that let their health go to the point that a virus with 99% survival rating is now a big risk for them should STFU, get the Covid vaccine, then worry about their own health so the next 99% survivable virus isn't a risk for them.
