Perhaps the county board should have just shared the data willingly. I know if I was accused of cheating and new I was innocent and wanted to prove it, I would gladly share/examine the data. If there was nothing to hide there would not be such a huge effort from democrats, local and all the way up to the DOJ, to shut down the audit.

Because people don't have to act based on every bullshit conspiracy charge?

For something as important as an election, they should be willing to. If for nothing else, to keep people feeling like they are participating in a fair election process.  Look at what the alternative is.

I'm sure you wouldn't mind a team of cops searching your car and house just to prove that you have nothing to hide...

The precedent would be that every opposing party would claim every election is a fraud.  It's up to the accusers to present evidence which existed only in the form of social media clout

It seems to me that precedent has already been set.

If I had as many irregularities and statistical anomalies in my life, I'm sure there would be ample evidence to support a warrant.

Kind of like the missing chain of custody documents for hundreds of thousands of ballots. That should be enough to justify a forensic audit. If the original ballots cannot be produced and the chain of custody cannot be produced then the ballots should be examined.

This whole sorry spectacle quit being funny or cute a long time ago. The last day it could possibly be thought of that way was Jan 5. Everything changed January 6.

As head Republicans in Maricopa county so eloquently state:
Quote"We can't indulge these insane lies any longer," the official, Stephen Richer, the Maricopa County recorder and a Republican, wrote on Twitter. "As a party. As a state. As a country. This is as readily falsifiable as 2+2=5."

More fake news and lies from the MSM

QuoteA forensic auditor helping conduct an audit of 2020 election machines in Arizona's largest county disputed on May 20 reports claiming he backtracked on allegations that files were deleted from one of the machines.

"My testimony on May 19th before the AZ Senate is being taken out of context by some media outlets. To confirm: the 'Databases' directory on the EMS Primary Server WAS deleted containing the voting databases. I was able to recover the deleted databases through forensic data recovery processes," Ben Cotton, founder of CyFIR, said in a statement emailed to The Epoch Times by the audit's liaison.

Some reports, including articles from The Associated Press and CNN, alleged auditors had "backtracked" from or "reversed" allegations that files were deleted from a machine.

AP, for instance, claimed that Cotton said that "data was not destroyed, reversing earlier allegations that election officials in the state's most populated county eliminated evidence."

CNN claimed that auditors "backtracked" from claims that a key database had been deleted.

Both outlets left out the crucial context from Cotton's testimony before Arizona state senators on May 18.

In my view, if there was nothing to hide they would not be so ferocious on their efforts to stop this recount

If there was something to find they could present evidence of it
