Bad luck comes in three's

Been one heck of a month. Started a couple weeks ago with someone hacking our credit card and running up $5000 on it. The bank took care of it and all is back to normal there.

Then last Thursday my wife got rear ended on the freeway. The hit caused her to contact the car in front of her. The car that hit her fled the scene and no one got a license plate. Insurance totaled the car so now we have to find her a new car. Not a good time to buy a car!

Then last night we had a hail storm come through. I counted about 15 places the siding is destroyed and I haven't been up on the roof yet. Windshield on the daughters Prius got hit.

Luckily insurance will cover just about all of it. The last few years have been relatively easy, money wise. No major financial emergencies and I have made the most money ever in my life. We have paid off everything but the house and started a decent emergency saving fund. Hopefully we will still have a bit left after all this stuff is fixed/replaced.

Haha I don't make the rules.  I just complain a lot when things don't go my way.  lol.

that hail didn't miss me by much.  We got a ton of marble sized and a few golf ball sized, but a couple miles away had nearly softball sized coming down.  Lots of broken windows over there, and another friend not far from there lost most of the siding on one side of his house.  Hopefully my corn survives, definitely took a beating, after it all froze less than a month ago!  The rain was definitely needed though, 2 1/4" and there weren't even puddles in my driveway.
