IKE posts are In-House Solutions post with machine kinematic awareness, The IKE+ appears to be a package that includes a Setup Sheet.

Oh crap .. the future of emc.  I use a lot of their old free posts and I'm guessing that their not going to be updated anymore?

"Please note that mpmaster and mplmaster are only being updated to the latest version of Mastercam going forward. All development is now done to our IKE post product line. "

So they will be updated, they are just not being further developed.

I got some more information about this, the product IKE+ is a graphical post editor that is currently only available to resellers.
The resulting posts are IKE posts or something.

I see on emastercam that In-House is looking for Beta testers for their new style IKE posts.  This is the replacement for mpmaster and mplmaster.  Interesting...

Do you think you will try it?

Why not if they are not supporting mpmaster anymore there must be a reason.  Can't hold on to the past forever...

Is it going to be free?  I can see one reason?

Taking away the "no kinematic awareness" argument. Or at least attempting to.

I'm going to give it a whirl.
The setup sheet looks raw, and needs work on appearance IMO but it has potential.
I'm used to X+, 1 click and done for my setup sheets but if this can compete and if it's still free then I'll consider switching. X+ isn't free anymore but it's only about $250 bucks a year.

pretty cheap when it's to setup a machine that's over $100,000

Yeah it's cheap. And it's not my money
It's going to take a lot more than a basic sheet to get me to switch, X+ is nice and lean and to the point. Super easy for my operators to read quickly.
