Riggers are bringing in a new Okuma MB-5000HII horizontal and a 16 pallet Fastems FMS today. We are also relocating our toolroom M560 to make room for another Multus and 5x Mill later this year or early next year.

Is the picture mirrored or is the Controller really on the left side?

It is on the left side. Years ago many builders used to put them on the right side. This meant in order to keep your hands on the knobs and watch what is going on in the machine you were twisting a bit, looking over your left shoulder. The control on the left is far better IMO.

I LOVE TAPE !!!!  Be sure to clear "The Buffer"

People used to laugh when they saw two rolls of Scotch tape in my box.

Mori Seiki 1500 and 2500 36" 4 jaw chuck. The control was on a roller you would have it nearer the chuck as you were touching off.
Then pull it all the way(10 feet)?? to the back before you hit the green.

Butt Pucker........Did you Clear "The Buffer"

When I first got here 41 years ago the programmers used a Flexiwriter. It was a typewriter that punched tape one character at a time, no spellcheck on that baby. Thank God I never had to use that beast, I am a terrible typist.
