I'm going to have to give this a big LOL. I'm almost speechless on this one.

No discrimination you say?  Not unless you're white that is.

QuoteOrganizers for a Seattle gay pride event say they're charging white people a "reparations fee" to attend. They have the support of Seattle City Council president and mayoral candidate Lorena Gonzalez and the Seattle Human Rights Commission.

TAKING B(L)ACK PRIDE organizers say all are welcome to attend. However, "white allies and accomplices" must pay the reparations fee. It will be charged on a sliding scale of $10 to $50 depending on one's ability to pay. The event location is Jimi Hendrix Park, owned by the city of Seattle. This raises questions about the legality of a reparations fee.

QuoteCity clearly prohibits racial discrimination
Seattle Parks and Recreation explicitly prohibits racial discrimination in their parks. And it applies to event organizers using the park, with or without a permit.

According to Seattle Municipal Code (18.12.280):

It is unlawful for any person occupying or using any park or recreation facility for any event, activity or exhibition open to the public, whether or not under a permit and whether or not an admission or entrance fee is charged, to deny to any other person the full use and enjoyment of such park and recreation facility because of race...

Seattle Parks and Recreation did not respond to email requests for comment. It's unclear if this event is permitted.

Looks like Carl Nassib is gonna have to shell out some dough.

And there will be hundreds of people lining up to pay that fee.
Someone should hold an event that charges people a non-white skin color fee and see how these hypocrites melt down.

You do make a good point about inequality in the U.S.

I am a little confused as how gay pride has a color associated with it.

It's gotten out of hand. Just the other day (yesterday?)  a judge blocked Biden's RACIST farmer relief plan.
Of course white people were exempt from getting any relief money.

Ever notice it's always the left that screams racism at the drop of a hat but they're the root cause of it and perpetuate it? Don't have to look very hard to see that.

If Trump were to exclude a group of people based on skin color.... holy shit these very same people hypocrites would lose their fucking minds.

That was my reaction as well.
Aren't there quite a few gay white people?

Apparently some are less welcome than others.
The sad part is they can't even see their own monumental hypocrisy through their blind hatred.

June 24 (Reuters) - A U.S. federal judge on Wednesday temporarily blocked a part of the Biden administration's federal stimulus relief package that forgave agricultural debts to farmers of color.

A white farmer named Scott Wynn of Jennings, Florida, in May had challenged U.S. President Joe Biden's plans as he faced farm loans and financial hardship during the pandemic. He said the debt relief program discriminated against him by race.

U.S. District Judge Marcia Morales Howard blocked the government's $4 billion aid package to farmers of color on Wednesday, ruling that the plaintiff had established a "strong likelihood" of the policy violating his right to equal protection under the law.

Wynn, who is challenging Section 1005 of the American Rescue Plan Act, which provides debt relief to "socially disadvantaged farmers and ranchers," is likely to succeed, Howard said in the ruling filed in the Middle District Court of Florida.

Whatever the hell "socially disadvantaged farmers and ranchers" are is anyone's guess.

If you own a farm or a ranch of any size, you are:
1. NOT "disadvantaged" in any way.
2. In just as much financial distress from the pandemic as the next guy, regardless of skin color.

Reverse racism is still racism.
Giving a benefit based on the color of someone's skin is discrimination against everyone else.
