I had ( have?) a step sister who lives in San Francisco.
In the early 80's my mother and step father were there visiting
I flew up to visit.
The Gay Freedom Day Parade was in full swing and my step sister
took me, my mom and step father to the parade.
She was trying to shock the out of town rubes and succeeded in spectacular fashion.
I saw things I can't ever unsee and never want to see again.
There were some very strange and disturbed people at that parade
If that makes me an old white bigot, so be it
