What do you mean by "employee theft".
I'll go back to being a conservative, when conservatives go back to being conservative.

That's what SpaceX does once I get a good Okuma mill hand trained up

I've heard a lot of shitty things about SpaceX
Were doing some work for Blue Origin right now.
Of the two -
?

I did a lot of cool work for BO a couple of years ago
We lost it all to a shop in the South East.
We could not compete with their prices.

BO is an interesting company.

I like some things about them.
You can tell that some of their designers are a little green.

We quoted a few parts for them a while back and I had to sit on the phone with them and talk about the machinability of the parts. Not many companies do that.

Not as green as SpaceX
They used to send engineers out to sit on their jobs
They were enthusiastic twenty somethings in Occupy Mars tee shirts
Despite that, SpaceX has been doing some very impressive stuff recently

I thought his presentation was one sided... as in... only employers are theifs.

Can't employees rip off their employers?

Yea, obviously, right?
We do it every day sitting here bullshitting on a forum on the company dime.

Exactly.

The graph at the top... if taken too seriously... paints the capital holder as a bad person out to manipulate and take advantage of the poor working class. That's a Marxist viewpoint... and I see Marxism as, not only untried, but impossible to implement.

A graph can be made of employees too... with everything from on the clock computer use, phone use, to taking a dump.

***********************************

Free markets allow individuals to judge.
Don't work for the tyrant... get the word out and don't buy their products either.
Or better yet... start your own company and practice what you preach.
I have a feeling, bleeding heart Marxists would change their tune in a hurry, if they met a payroll for a few years.

All the really good owners I have worked for, treat everyone well and pay fair wages.
I've worked for a few less-than-appealing bosses and owners... and they lose good employees eventually... as they should.

I say... leave people to make their own individual decisions, and the freedom that follows will make everyone better off.
