This is another subject that I'm having a hard time telling if some of the opposition is just outrage and fear mongering or if it's something to legitimately be concerned with?

There are some aspects of the impression that I've gotten from some sources that I think are a little outrageous.  Some of what I've heard hasn't been.  

I do know that It's probably morphed from it's origins to fit today's narrative?  

Does anyone really know that much about CRT?

I don't have kids so I don't have to concern myself with this but I am genuinely curious.   It seems as if both sides of our politics have become a cluster fuck of fear mongering so I always wonder if it's just that, or is there something more to it.

This is also a very conservative school district. In the zoom meeting video with Dr LaGarret King.  The teachers were asking how to teach Critical Race theory without the parents finding out about it.  and the advice he gave was not to teach with the actual words, "white privilege" but to teach the concept.  And another teacher said, I have been teaching this for at least a decade in that way.

Who is the biggest donator to the dumbocrats = The Teacher's Union, so of course if they want to keep that money they will back it 100%, like they have been.

It's literally disgusting what children are being told these days.

The teachers in my district would have to hide it from the other teachers also. I know two teachers that if they heard CRT was being taught, the school board, the parents and the news would also know about it and one of the teachers is black.

I'd like to know exactly what's being taught to my children (if I had any).  I do think that accurate history is important.  When it gets morphed in to activism then I think that it does more damage than good.

I don't believe that a majority of our schools are trying to turn our children in to activists.  I suspect that this is an attention grab for ratings.

I'm starting to have the home/private/public school talk with my wife now. Fortunately my son isn't even 2 yet and one on the way. However the chances of it getting worse rather than better are pretty high.

I still remember having teachers in high school yell at me because I questioned them or brought up opposing views from actually doing my research on subjects rather than just reading the liberal rags. Wish I had the guts to bring that to the attention of people back then.
