The male officer's father, who is a retired Chicago cop, also gave the mayor an earful when she tried to talk to him, sources told the Sun-Times. She reportedly remained calm and attentive while he blamed her for what happened.



I put this in The Outhouse in anticipation of it going south fast, and because of the possible language that may be used.

Simple traffic stops aren't always so simple, and unfortunately that's what happened here.

Having said that, IMO Lightfoot is an incompetent fool who is in so far over her head as mayor of a major city it is more tragic than funny.
Keep electing idiots and you will keep stupid as the norm.

I don't blame the officers in the hospital for turning their backs on her, and I would have joined them if I was there.

I think there's a son of former Mayor Daley that could be the third generation mayor. The first two Daleys were corrupt as hell but they ran a clean and decently safer city.
