The TWAT in Chief just laid flowers at the site where John McCain was shot down and captured. How does anyone in this administration (and journalists) think it was a memorial FOR John McCain? It was erected to honor the Communists who captured him...  :wallbash:  :wallbash:  :wallbash:

Benedict McCain showed his true colors for all to see in his last days. That is why the left loves him. He was the greatest of the Rino's. He was the media's darling Republican that they could count on to side with the libs if they kept him in the spotlight enough to keep his ego full. Yet, shows just how stupid he was that he was shocked when he won the pres nod in 2008 and the media turned on him. However, he still couldn't even resist going back to them in later years. He was a little minded, ego maniac, that most likely suffered from PTSD that made him unfit for public office. Good riddance, and please take Romney and co with you.

McCain was DEFINITELY no Admiral Stockdale, Gen. Bud Day, Gen. Risner, Col. Thompson, Cmdr. Everett Alvarez Jr., etc... Those were men of honor and integrity after their service in the armed forces ended. McCain was not them... Not by a long shot. McCain always hid behind his former POW status. You could NEVER question or criticize his policy or legislative positions because he was a POW and how dare you question a former POW on something completely unrelated to being a POW.

I have the utmost respect for each and every person who signs up and signs on the dotted line to give everything up to and including their life in defense of our nation. However, the respect does not mean they get a pass for things unrelated to said service. Like Lt. Cmdr. Dan Crenshaw (ret.), I am grateful for his service, thankful that for the most part he has a level headed approach to legislation, debate, and working with political rivals, however, his pro-Red Flag law opinions are steaming piles of Un-Constitutional bovine excrement. The #1 reason they are unconstitutional is none other than the 5th Amendment (or more specifically the "due process" clause). The reality is if someone represents a clear and present danger to themselves and/or someone else there are legal mechanisms in place to handle that in every single state. Think 5150 hold at which time the matter can then be adjudicated so the person can face their accusers and either be found justified to have their 2nd Amendment rights withdrawn or, the case can be found to not be worthy of removing someone's 2nd Amendment rights.
