Scary Haircut !!

I guess about two years back I decided to find a real Barber shop near me. I happened on Mike's Barber shop two blocks from my place. His hours are great and He knows what a mans haircut should look like. I think he may be a couple years older than me,Just a few. Cash only. Reminds me of "Floyds" on Mayberry. All the local gossip,If you want the real story this is the place to get it. All the old timers and Guy's who have lived here forever wander in. He lives near The Hardee's I sometimes frequent and tells me everytime he see's My bike there. "So I saw you were at Hardee's on Tuesday" always Freaks me out. Try The Special "They have the Best Biscuits and sausage gravy".

Soooo I gave you guys a lead on where I am coming from.

So Now you need to hear "The rest of the Story" (Paul Harvey)


He of course has a lean toward Conservatism. and Was careful not to alienate.
But He loved Trump for the same reasons as I pretty much. "Phuck the establishment"

I went in on my usual Saturday Cut and he had a sign up. "Masks Preferred"
I walked in and he let me know he had masks but it was my choice. I told him "For you Mike what ever makes you comfortable"
so I grabbed a mask.

As others walked in conversation was of course Vivid.

I heard every left talking point. expounding the overloaded hospital 38 patients at Deaconess.

Deaconess has 6 hospitals here in our area so they are quite capable of handling many more.

St.Marys Acenscion is the alternate and Not reporting as Deaconess is any issues.

Deaconess is full load on Federal money.

As the conversation moved it became extremely clear that if you were Unvaxxed you were trying to Kill everyone in there.

Mike handed me a mirror and smiled. "What do ya Think?" and then he winked at me.

I did not laugh out loud. I just smiled and said "See ya next Saturday"

The Man has got to make a Living.

And I didn't have the heart to tell him "The Biscuits and sausage Gravy Suck at Hardee's"

That kinda reminds me of when I was a kid and the barber shop I went to. The man was a tough S.O.B., Korean war vet, military stuff plastered on the walls, etc...
Chewed gum so rapidly as if he were going for a Guinness world record lol.
Loved his Kessler's n coffee.  



Side note:  It's hilarious when the leftys rip on people that are unvaxxed. I think most of them truly believe that the "vaccination" is a cure. And all parrot the same thing that people who CHOOSE not to get it are anti-vax.

A while back I found a great little barber shop not far from my church.
It's a single chair shop run by a young woman named Liza.

She is a very good barber, very easy to talk to, and she is great with kids.
Her husband is a Corrections Officer at a nearby State Prison, and when you look around her shop there is lots of pro-2A, pro-America decor.
She seems like a patriotic American, and even kind of a rebel.

During the shutdown she was forced to close, and when the state allowed her to re-open it was by appointment only, so I called and booked an appointment.  When I got there I was shocked to find out she turned into a mask Nazi!

After cutting my hair, I asked her if she would trim my beard a bit as she usually did.
She told me she was not allowed to do that, and was afraid the state would shut her down again.
It was only the two of us in the place, but her fear of the state ran so deep she would not risk the 10 seconds it would take to do that.

Sad.  

I haven't been back since, and I have actually found a new place closer to home run by a young guy who is not paranoid at all and will give the customer exactly what he wants.
