Stye's in my Eyes , Coolant

We started using Hocut 400 in the lathes and when I have The Chuck jaws on (not the collet) there is generally a fair amount of
Coolant spray. I usually let it spin for a few before opening it up.

Anywho couple weeks ago I got styes in Both eyes.  wasn't sure of the cause. Got erythromycin went away.
Last Wednesday got fairly well in the spray of it finishing a Job.

Thursday eyes were severely Irritated.

Friday They Blew up and drained.

Checked MSDS was NOT good. Any one else use this stuff?


P.S. switching to Hangsterfers Monday. No Mas !! No Mas!!

Ouch!  I've been running Hangsterfers S-787 (I think they're calling it 5080 now?) for five years.  I get some in my eyes once in a while, never had a problem.  Current batch has been in the machine two years; I fill the saw off the washdown hose, and I splashed some in my eye from the saw about two weeks ago.  Still no problem.

We Have gone over to Rocol Untracut Clear.
High dilution and a semi synthetic
Haven't had a problem for the last few years

I have never had a reaction till now .
But mind this in looking back I have not changed my mask in months so it could also be that .
When I Put them on they cross my lower lids.
I don't want to place blame .I'm just checking.
and yes NOW all those masks are gone.
I'm Changing over tomorrow so we will see .
