Anybody tried it yet?
Obviously, I'm not going to upgrade my CAD/CAM workstation
I have a 4 year old Surface laptop I would be willing to try it on but it
is not Win11 compliant so I'm out of luck for now

I might give it a go, I like to be at the front of technology.

Well, Linux had a superior design pattern compared to windows 10, lets see how it stacks against 11?

I've got 3 PC's I keep up to date
My main workstation, which will be 2 years old in December
My 5 year old ex-main workstation. I keep it current as an emergency backup machine.
A 3 year old MS Surface laptop I use for light web surfing

Only my newest main workstation is Win11 compliant.
I'm not buying a new machine just to play with Win11 and I'm not updating
my main workstation until MC says MC 20?? is fully Win11 compliant.
It will be a while before I will be checking out Win11

7 was great. MUCH better than 10. I still don't like the Windows 10 interface.

I liked it a lot more towards the beginning.   I don't care for how they continue to move toward a cellphone/tablet type interface for setting and seem to want to make advanced settings difficult to find.

That's because generally speaking, people today need easy. And by easy, I mean they don't want to know a damn thing about how things work, they just want it to work. And when it doesn't, they want to thrown it away or trade it in on something else that they think does.

How much longer till M$ jumps on the yearly release bandwagon? I am betting Win 11 is the last "numbered" release....and gonna say that we will see Windows 2025 before we see Windows 12
