Again the Second amendment is a right designated to the people whereas abortion is a judicial decree and that IS a big difference.

Correction, the Bill of Rights designate nothing. They limit and restrict what the government may do and defines what they cannot. These are the rights of every human being as a nature of their birth.

Abortion was, rightly or wrongly defined as a right based on there is no limit placed, so it is interpreted that it is a right, being that it is not specificaly restricted.

The problem with the Roe vs Wade decision has and remains, a failure of government. Thus was left into the hands of the courts.

Roe v. Wade was a horrible decision. It set forth despicable precedent. I don't say that because I loathe abortion, I say that because it literally stomped all over state's rights. No matter how deeply you torture language, there is no inalienable or enumerated right to end an innocent life. There just isn't. There IS however an enumerated "...right to 'keep'..." (have/own) "AND 'bear'..." (have on your person) "arms" (weapons of all types). The facts are the buffoons in SCOTUS haven't a clue about English usage. If they did, they would have ruled FAR differently. The NFA would not even be a thing. The ATF would not exist.

Look, I live in a Lunitic Left state. Regardless of how Roe V. Wade was ruled, Abortion would ALWAYS be legal in The People's Republik of Kommieforniastan. The PRK isn't alone. The left will always cherish their desire to end inconvenient life. The left will always want to remove the pain of consequences so they can tell people "look what we did for you...".
