QuoteOverall, the USA Today/Suffolk poll has some disturbing numbers for Biden-Harris. Consider the answers to the question, "What is the one thing Americans want President Biden to do in the next year?"

— Resign/retire/quit: 20 percent

— Economy/jobs: 11 percent

— Unite/help the country: 8 percent

— Immigration/border control: 8 percent

— COVID/mandates: 6 percent

— Infrastructure bills: 5 percent

— Inflation: 4 percent

— Health care: 3 percent

— Climate change/environment: 3 percent

— Bipartisanship: 3 percent

That's right: The top of the list is Americans wanting the president to resign or quit.

They don't care..they don't mind losing elections if it advances their socialist dream
 It's just like ObamaCare
Once a government program is started it's nearly impossible to shut it down
They shoved it through in a partisan midnight vote and got slaughtered in elections for years afterwards,
but ObamaCare is still here

The same is true for the "Infrastucture" bill they just passed
It is 15% infrastructure, 85% new socialist welfare state bullshit.
The Dems and 15 Rhinos who voted for it may get swept out in a red tide in 2022 and 2024
but the socialist bullshit is here to stay.... and they will build on it next time they come to power

I've heard that a lot, but I don't really see the sociailsim in it. (not to any great degree, anyway).  I'm curious about what it is you don't like, I might be missing something.  But my personal opinion, is that infrastructure is what tax payer dollars should be going to.  There are always going to be things in bills I don't like, and this is no different, but overall it seems like a good bill to me, unless I'm missing something.

Biden is in way over his head. The man never truly managed anything except politics.

While this country gets worse everyday all he and his ilk care about is climate change.

Basically he's an idiot but a swell guy.

I wish this was the case. I think they don't care because they know how to steal an election and get away with it. They are no longer worried about polls and public image.

I think he is speaking more to the bs "social infrastructure" the dems are going to push through using reconciliation to attach it with the infrastructure bill that you are talking about.

if you can find an accurate summation of the recently passed "infrastructure" bill, you will find
it's about 25% infrastructure,  75% social engineering
Even the legitimate infrastructure spending is hobbled by endless social engineering/green energy boondoggles, mandates and carve outs for favored Democratic voting bases
I would be surprised if 1 dollar out of 10 of the $1.5 trillion dollar pork fest actually gets spent building bridges, roads
and energy transmission lines.
They've allocated just enough money to get some worthwhile stuff started but they'll have to come back to the trough
for more $$$$$$ later to actually finish it.

Here is the text of the bill

I don't know how anybody could read that in any kind of timely fashion.  but I have skimmed over it and for the most part it feels pretty clean to me. what am I missing.  I just don't see the social engineering that you are talking about

Isn't there 2 bills and the one with the social spending hasn't passed yet.

I heard on the radio yesterday that the infrastructure bill is going to require Auto manufacturers to add software/equipment within 5 years that will judge whether or not a person is driving "impaired" and shut down the car if it deems they are impaired. That seems like a massive intrusion to privacy.

executive orders can undo a previous executive order
they cannot undo a law passed by Congress and the Senate

That's why presidentpoopypants was able to unwind the Keystone pipeline, travel bans and Trump's
border walls on day 1. They were enacted via executive order not the legislative process
