I never expected Biden to go so far left. I figured he would be a left-center prez that would prioritize grift of the swamp over the progressive wing of the party. I expected Harris would be the far left ruling leader. Now I am starting to think we would be better with her at the helm. She seems too incompetent to get much done.

Biden is not running the show. he's just a suit they trot out from time to time to show the flag
The real power behind the throne are White House policy advisors,  holdovers from the Obama Admin.
They are True Believers and their only goal is to ram their agenda thru.
They do not care if they destroy the Dem party in the process.
They know once you get a .guv program started it is nearly impossible to shut it down.

An example...  basic income
It has been the goal of progressives for a generation and under the guise of pandemic relief, they have
achieved their goal .
It is being called Child Tax Credits but this is a lie.
It's straight up welfare because you don't have to have a job or pay taxes to receive these "tax credits".
Now that they are formal government policy, they will never end.

My girlfriends Daughter and Son in Law make about $250,000 a year and they qualified for the tax credit. I'm going to to out on a limb here and say that they don't need that money.  

Apparently they don't have a "I was smart enough to wear a condom" tax credit.
I'll go back to being a conservative, when conservatives go back to being conservative.

I watch the Old,Old,Old Cowboy flicks and they use that term often.
