One of my old 24" Dell Ultrasharp monitors is on it's last legs and I'm shopping for a replacement
Looking at the Dell business site, almost all the Ultrasharps they sell now are 4K
I recall many posts over the years about people having trouble with Mastercam running 4K monitors
Is that still the case.
I don't want to buy a new monitor only to discover it does not play nice with Mastercam

As far as I know those issues are persistent, and I have yet to see CNC comment it will be resolved at any point in time.
I'm not even sure it's possible for a 4K solution with MFC...

IMO there really isn't any point to getting a 4K monitor for anything but movies and gaming. Even with gaming it's... meh. I have 1 at home, paid $1000 for it. It is now my secondary monitor because the refresh rate is only 60hz.
2K 144hz monitor is my main home monitor.
Here at work I have two 1080p monitors.
I would suggest getting a 144z or higher 1080p IPS monitor.

What threw me on this is the Dell web page I was looking at only showed in stock inventory
which was mostly expensive 4K monitors
I found another page showing all their offerings, including the Ultrasharp models I usually buy
but none of them are available

My laptop is 4k as are one of my monitors on my desk. I've had no issues so far. The problem I have seen on other people's displays is really small text and dialog boxes. That does not seem to be an issue for me.

I seem to recall needing to set something like at 125% or 150% but that was it. HTH

What vendor supplied your monitor?

I didn't want to buy a 4K monitor
It's been years since I bought one and I'm not up on what's the latest greatest
I just went to Dell Business/Monitors/Ultrasharp and all the had was big $$$ 4K monitors
They still make regular Ultrasharp monitors, but they are out of stock due to the back up
at Long Beach Harbor
The takeaway from this is that now is NOT a good time to buy a new monitor

I followed instructions in the link for mc2022 and it worked perfectly.  Now mastercam adheres to the windows scaling properly without having to edit the font size or any of the other work arounds.

One other note is the manifest location listed in the pdf does not work.  Here's what is contained in the manifest file:

Is anyone using curved monitors
I'm currently running two 24" monitors on the left and right with a 27" wide screen in the center
One of the 24's is over a decade old and is starting to fail.

I've been thinking about a 27 or 32 inch curved monitor and wonder if anybody's using one
for programming?
My initial thoughts are that I wouldn't like a curved monitor, but value everyone's opinion here
