But he hates tribes. Therefore he's an ass.

My understanding is you are of Native American heritage, correct? Does my use of the very commonly used word, tribalism, offensive to you because of your heritage? I don't understand, but I can accept that if it is the case, and if so, I will try to remember and use "partisan" instead. :respect:

While I do have NA "heritage" (I'm first gen born off tribal land), more importantly, we are trying to salvage our culture. Our language is going dead. Our kids are not taught our history. My mother was forced as a child to disavow her tribe and not allowed to speak Tsalagi, even though she went to an Indian school. As children, we were not allowed to speak Tsalagi in the house (even tho my grandmother did behind her back).
Our tribe is our culture. Our family. Our Nation. That has for the most part been forcefully killed off.
So when I see somebody continually rail and besmirch tribes, it is like nails on a chalk board. Not offensive as much as irritating as hell. I'm sure you would feel the same if I started calling everybody Sybil.

I'm sorry: I truly am not trying to be offensive. I guess I'm ignorant coming from a completely different background. What we as the dominant people group in this nation did to all the NA tribes was horrible and indefensible. Thank you for sharing your perspective, and I will try hard not to use that word anymore. Partisan is just as accurate, and hopefully, not offensive.

The ignorance is exactly why it is so irritating. Virtually all Americans are.
We are the invisible people. America has not taught our history. Therefore, most have zero clue what We are about. We've been cancelled. They think oh! Let's call them the "the football team!" Or some other stupid act is appeasing to us.
Shoot, a large majority think we are extinct.
Ever been to a Powwow? They are all over the place. We aren't hiding. But we aren't burning shit for attention either.
By the way, we really aren't from that much of a different background. We are both Americans. The exception is I was forced to learn your side.

Since we homeschooled our son, we were all 'in' as a family and every vacation was learning trip. Since we have a time share down in Gatlinburg, TN, we have been to the Cherokee/Oconaluftee Indian Village stuff on the south side of the Smokey Mtns a couple of times in North Carolina. I don't know if I've ever been to a PowWow.
Yeah, we are all much more the same than the puppet masters want us to admit.

The saddest part for me is about half of our countrymen have no clue what they are doing to themselves. They sadly won't realize it until something dear to them is lost. By then, it will  be too late.

There is one last hope... maybe a 5% chance... but still hope... today, January 6th... Pence could send the electors back to the state legislators for a re-vote in the swing states where rampant fraud is accused... and they... all republican legislatures... could vote to send Trump electors.

Today is the day we find out.

If it doesn't work, and Biden gets in with a democrat House and democrat Senate... here comes socialism at 100 MPH.

Remember... Reko tried telling you how EVIL socialism was... and many of you hated me for it!!!!!

This two party system is what killed our republic.

I don't think that's why anyone who hated you (maybe too strong a word?) actually hated you.
I'll go back to being a conservative, when conservatives go back to being conservative.

+1000  I think if the party system was done away with completely and you could just vote for the people that represent you best that division by party line would become much less.  Unfortunately, That won't happen.

What?
Blaming a party system for implementing socialism?
How does that happen?

People that propose SOCIALIST PROGRAMS and pass them gave government more power... and that government power is what is ruining free markets and enabling a socialist takeover.

Party system... really?

Yes, party system.

The fact that we only have two choices, and both of them are turds, has caused us to flock to one side or the other no matter how extreme they get.

So you're saying I should have voted for Biden instead?

and that's the flaw in his assumption.  He wrongly assumes all 3rd party votes would go one way...that is just wrong.

I don't have a vote or say in the USA but in Canada you are seeing "other parties" gaining traction. In the province of P.E.I. the Green party was elected out of no where. My guess is voters are tired of the revolving Liberals in power...vote Conservative.....pissed off at the Conservatives so re-elected the Liberals...

I personally wish Canada had a recall system that could recall elected officials.

In Canada we are no ruled by the Liberals who have shifted to the far left, they are now a socialist party IMHO but they did not get elected on that platform.
