All eyes were on the Senate runoff vote that shifted the balance of power, and the Dems still won.

If Trump decides to run in 2024, he will literally need attorneys with certified papers in EVERY county-level counting facility in EVERY major city.
That would be a monumental task.
Not impossible, but highly improbable.

As much as I think his policies were spot on, I do hope Trump does not run again. Though the prospect of 24-7 for 4 years... gnashing teeth of the left is soooooooooo delicious.

There are some promising prospects on the right. We shall see.

I am hoping the fraud in the senate runoffs was just because it was so soon after the main election and that by 2024 states will get their act together.

Quote from: beej post_id=19882 time=1639665896 user_id=98My personal opinion about trump is that I wish he wouldn't run.

I agree.
I supported almost everything he did as President.
Some of his speeches were epic, but most of the time the stuff he said was cringe worthy.
I contributed heavily to his reelection campaign, but a year after the election I was still getting 30 to 40 emails
a day asking for money. I finally had enough and unsubscribed last week,
Recently he made a statement that he had single handedly saved Israel and said "fuck Netanyahu"
for a congratulatory phone call to Biden once the election was  certified. That's just too much.
Trump did an outstanding job as President, and if he'd kept his mouth shut most of the time
he'd be a year into his 2nd term now, but his big mouth makes him too toxic to ever win another election.
The Dem's would burn the country to the ground before they would let him back in the White House

Secretly I'm hoping they try. Eventually, people will stand up and it will not end well for them.

If people voted with their brains few if any Democrats would never win another election. There would only be Independents, Libertarians the token Democrat and Republicans holding office. The problem is we let ignorant, petulant 2 year olds vote and have public opinions.
