As many excuses as I have made for 'such a person' over the last 4 years, there is no excuse today. The stupidity of the Left in Seattle and all the other democratic cities during the summer protests does NOT excuse this. I can't wait until he is gone, but his ugly legacy is going to last for a long, long time, I'm afraid... :(  :(  :(

it's  not about excusing anything, I said this last year.  If the riots of 2020 result in winning the election, they are creating a strategic roadmap for their counterparts.

I'm sorry if I don't feel a whole lot of sympathy for people who refused to condemn left-wing violence all summer are now facing right-wing violence. When law and order is thrown out the window, this is what you get. We begged for our leaders to lead and stop the violence. They didn't. Whatever happens today is on the people who wouldn't uphold our laws during the BLM riots. They showed America that violence pays.
