That logic was used to keep slavery legal for way too long. the question was (posed by democrats at the time), "So we free them! then what?"

now the question being asked is(by democrats), So now we have all these babies! then what?

It's a legit question, but it shouldn't stop us from doing what we know is right.

There's roughly 2,000,000 families waiting to adopt a child in the US. At any one time, there as as many as 36 families for every one available adoptable child. And the expense... my wife and I looked into adoption early in our marriage, it was going to be close to 1/2 my annual salary at the time all because lawyers have their hooks in the system. You can't even do an adoption without a lawyer.

Still, there are plenty of families that woudl happily welcome another member into their family, but the abortion industry wants to make certain that never happens. Murderous thugs. The whole lot of them.

This is something that I can't wrap my head around. Is it profit that is the driver behind this?

I don't get in to the adoption conversation. I think that you have a very valid point there. I do think that is a little more complicated conversation to have with someone who has to decide whether they want to end a pregnancy early, say with the pill, or carry to term to hand the baby off to another family.

When I adopted my daughter, I had to pay for 2 lawyers. One for my wife and I, and one for my daughter whose job it was to act in her best interest.

I heard of a woman one time who was pregnant and considering abortion. She had 2 kids already and was having a rough go of it, and when she got pregnant her parents told her to have an abortion or get kicked out of the house. We talked her into carrying the baby to term and we'd find a home for it. My Sis-in-law, couldn't get pregnant and was wishing she could adopt. We adopted that little girl right out of the hospital with no adoption agency. We had to pay for 3 laywers in that deal. One for the birth mother, one for my SIL and one for the baby. that baby just got her driver's permit last week. What a blessing she is!!

If you adopt throught the foster system, it's very inexpensive.

How many women have made that choice to trap a man and create a bad situation? Now the man who thought it was casual and not serious or wasn't the parent type now has no choice in the matter, but now has to pay up because she made her choice wrongly? Now we have two irresponsible people playing Russian roulette with a life.

Our youngest daughter was given one of those stupid screens while my wife was pregnant with her. They told us she would be a down syndrome baby. We need to abort the child. My aunt who worked for planned parenthood told me to abort her. I told her is she ever said killing our baby again I would never speak to hear. Our wonderful beautiful daughter is so smart and amazing I cannot even imagine our family without her as a part of it.

I have shared my story of my biologic dad wanting my mom to have an abortion and learned how violent he was after she passed away. She was not trying to trap him and from what I understand dated in high school. She was told she would never get pregnant after a bad car accident when was 18. She did and he wanted no part of it. I think they were married, but haven't been able to bring myself to the point of going digging up the truth to know. Either way she was pro-life and glad she took the beatings she did for my life and my twin brother to be here on this earth.

I have talked about my younger daughter on here before. She is deaf and has cerebral palsy. I can't imagine what our life would be like without her. Although at times it's been more work and other times heartbreaking I would never change it even for all the money in the world. It has truly been a blessing.
