Here's an interesting consideration for the Pro-Death crowd... make no mistake, there is a person that gets no choice in the matter of living or dying.

As abortion treats the fetus as a slave, the mother is prohibited from aborting by the Thirteenth Amendment. . . .
 
All of these incidents and definitions of slavery apply to abortion:
 
*            Fetuses are treated as the property of the mother.
*            Fetuses, when aborted, are treated as slaves of their mothers and put in the most severe involuntary servitude. This is prohibited by the Thirteenth Amendment.
*            Fetuses have no power to speak for themselves or to fight for their own liberty.
*            Fetuses do not have the power to control their own lives but may be killed by the one who owns them, without penalty...

90+ out of 100, abortion is used either as birth control or as a cover up for poor life choices. I don't want to hear about the "what about..." outliers. Let's deal with the 90+ out of 100 first, then we can discuss the less than 10.

Bari Weiss did a podcast on abortion a while back. It was long before the opinion was leaked.

The podcast was called - Honestly with Bari Weiss "Why You're Wrong—and Right—About Abortion".  It's a pretty interesting discussion for both pro life and pro choice people.

Par for the course in communist/socialist societies. They do not value life.

Here, the "Pro-Choice" crowd likes to pretend they value life but they really do not... which is completely their prerogative, however they are dishonest about their position because it's embarrassing to all but the hardcore lunatics. This is one of those issues where someone is either pro-life for whichever reason(s) they decide or they are pro-death for whichever reason(s) they decide. But at least be honest about the position no matter which side one is on for whatever reason(s) they may be. And if someone is embarrassed about any particular position they hold, perhaps that position should be re-evaluated.

I've read something similar. I've read from multiple sources the actual number of African American abortions performed since Roe v Wade is somewhere around the 20,000,000 mark. :O

Hitler?Nazi Germany killing 6,000,000 jews = "holocaust", worldwide condemnation and rage (deservedly so)
Margaret Sanger, Planned Parenthood et. al killing 22,000,000 of one single race = crickets

I have a hard time believing that he really holds that perspective. Although he's never had, nor has wanted children so it's easy for him to make that claim.  I would be willing to bet that he's had to talk a few women in to terminating pregnancies in his lifetime.

I'm one of those people who don't happen to think that Human life is inherently precious. We are admittedly more than a common animal but it as more likely to be expressed in how unbelievably evil we can be as opposed to those rare occasions when individuals rise to greatness.

BTW you who have chosen to take on the burden of raising a child with lifelong needs have my respect but I cannot condemn another person for not taking your path.

They surpass greatness well beyond adults on a daily basis. (Unconditional Love)

I don't want to speak for everyone, but I've been around a lot of kids throughout my life. I've been around a "few" that I didn't want to murder or shake.   

I blame that more on the parents than the children.

example - I was over at an girlfriends house  (ex) in my mid 20s and her neighbor had a young toddler. He was probably about 3 years old.  That kid was walking around hitting people with a stick.  He tried to hit me and I took it away. When his mom came up to scold him, he slapped her straight across the face.    If I had done that to my mom or dad when I was a kid I would still have a black eye from it 50 years later.

The best birth control for me has been someone elses children. 

disclaimer here - I know that not everyone's kids are like that.  I have a high regard for people who are actually willing to 'parent' their children and not allow them to be raised by the television, cell phones, computers, video games, etc.

Not everyone is cut out to raise children.
