Anyone got a recommendation for 5/16-24 threadmill that will cut inconel? Preferably with thru the spindle coolant.

The last big Inconel job we had, I called Carmex and told them that we needed a thread mill that got great tool life because we were going to be running lights out. They recommended their FSH line. The FSH line I believe is one of the hardcut (as gcode mentioned) flavors.

These thread mills exceeded what we were told. They were fantastic.  I don't believe that they were coolant through however.

If you give Carmex a call I've found them to always be very helpful.
I'll go back to being a conservative, when conservatives go back to being conservative.

I used a standard long length Carmex 2-56 threadmill in 625 inconel and it ran great climb cutting.
