I have MS edge as a browser I hate it,It is all MSN,msnbc, MS news. Bing search.

I'm old and Stoopid.....Please Help.

Old Dell desktop. paid $600 for it 6 years ago.

All Suggestions will be appreciated.

P.s. I would love to be off the grid....... Afterall....

Change the home page and set it up to use a different search engine.  Edge is basically just chrome.

I use about four different browsers so I'm not going to be a lot of help.  Chrome just had a massive security patch recently. I used to love firefox but it's become a bit bloated. I love it's development tools more than chromes though. 

I use vivaldi but it's a pain in the ass to set up. It's also a derivative of chrome.

Me too.
Qwant search engine is also privacy oriented and doesn't give you politically correct filtered results like many of the others.

As soon as I googled "Browsers" My page lit up with Microsoft !!! "Don't leave edge"

I wake up in the a.m. and all my settings are blank. I used to sign in with a pin they forced me to use my password.
Changed all my shit and preferences.

"The News" I get is 90% "Groom stops wedding because he Boinked Bridesmaid.

"Dog goes crazy over waffle"

Everytime I search something I am Bombarded with Ads.

Fixed and yes regular browsing. without being followed.

I do know Del has Yahoo for news, I have Fox (Leaning away from) Newsmax Better and I watch the other supposedly neutral sites ,CBS,NBC,ABC.

Hell if I had TMZ that would be a step up.
