QuoteVideo emerging online from Tuesday's schoolchildren massacre in Uvalde, Texas shows local police more concerned with stopping parents than stopping the killer.

Parents were pleading, "Give me the vest, I'll go in there!" but some ended up in handcuffs instead of vests.

Before you watch this video, please remember that these are Robb Elementary School parents who have been waiting fruitlessly outside of their own children's school while a madman was allowed all the time in the world to complete his rampage.

From start to finish it lasted 45 minutes.
The guy who ended it was an off duty border patrol officer.
He was wounded doing it. I saw a photo of his baseball hat, shredded by a round (.223???)
which must have grazed his skull

ALL THEM COPS WITH BODY ARMOR AND TACTICAL WEPONS WERENT ABLE TO GET IT DONE !?
They shouldn't have been detaining parents , once on scene they should have gone straight to the shooter .
W T F ,?
so now there's a law says you cant save your child from being a victim while cops stand by holding their cocks
everyone of those cops should be held for prosecution , , conspiracy to commit murder

Not only did the cops cower outside instead of going in, they aided and abetted the murderer by preventing anyone else from going in to help.  Go ahead, call me a cop hater.

I'll copy and paste a couple comments I saw....

All helping professions are hamstrung by insurance requirements designed to minimize liability. If a crazed criminal shoots someone, it's the criminal's fault. But if the police charge in and either get shot or shoot someone (guilty or innocent), the city and the insurance companies are terrified of lawsuits and riots. If you want police to protect you, you have to create an environment where their fear of being fired, sued, vilified, losing their house, and having their family terrorized is less than their desire to protect the weak and innocent. The lawyers, activists, journalist, insurance companies, bureaucrats, and Democrats created this problem intentionally. If they can't defund the police or terrorize them into resigning, they implement rules of engagement guaranteed to cause this. How else can they hope to get the public to support abolishing local police and replacing them with a national police that will suppress the Dems' political enemies? The goal is to disarm the public, abolish local police, and replace them with the FBI which will conduct itself much like the KGB. If you vote Democrat, support BLM or Antifa, oppose legal protections for police doing their job, or oppose tort reform, then you are at fault.

So Mr. Greene, you're unhappy that the police prevented unarmed parents from entering the school to go after an armed gunman? The parents would likely have been killed. Is it possible that if these parents and neighbors had not rushed to the school (understandable but not helpful) the police could have focused more on stopping the gunman and less on containing the parents? It's my understanding from police reports that the Uvalde police had to figure out exactly where the gunman was, determine for sure there was only one, then deploy most of the cops to rescue the kids in other parts of the school while other cops were focused on the gunman. I will wait to read the official investigative report before I rush to believe what upset parents are saying right now.

'crowd control' has to be the most chicken shit excuse. If they could have been bothered to end the threat, you know..their job....

Cop hater.
all situations = case by case. this one is seems really bad for the boys in blue..

There has been so many of these shootings with so much information and data to process that it should be all but impossible for a shooter to enter a school.

Years ago commercial airplanes crashed fairly often. Steps were taken to address the causes. Today such tragedies are rare.

Why have we not used this approach to minimize these shootings.

Rule # 1.  Always expect and prepare for worse case scenario.

If you choose law enforcement as a career then your duty is to rush in even if it gets you killed.

No, no, no.... we must crank the outrage meter up to eleventy billion NOW!!!!!

There's ALWAYS more to the story. The first report is ALWAYS wrong.

Kids died, and yeah, it TOTALLY sucks, and on the surface things don't look good for those we have entrusted our safety to. But if we don't tthink there's an agenda to paint this in a certain exceedingly deceptive way, we are NOT paying attention.

I too will wait to pass judgement until ALL of the information comes out so I can form an educated rational opinion as opposed to the ignorant emotional opinions running rampant right now.

Once the 911 call came in from grandmother that school should have been locked down and law enforcement should have been on their way. That should be protocol. It's not that fucking hard.
