I need to know how to say a few Afghan salutations and questions.

For Instance.

"Something is wrong with my Bed can you check it?"

"Was that an earthquake or was it me?"

"isn't it time for you to open the Gas station"?

"what Hummus again ?"

and finally

"Allah doesn't want you on your knees I do"

I have two Afghan refugee living with me. They're great cooks, so I'm not complaining, but 'eye candy' they are not.

Language is a huge barrier for them. We use Google Translate, English to Pashto. It seems to work okay if the sentences are simple.

The difficulty, I assume especially with females, is reading comprehension. Many Afghan lack basic reading skills.

Females were not deemed worthy of education. In fact the Taliban would burn schools
and murder girls if they dared to attend school.

Some progress was made during the US involvement, but since the Biden Bugout, it's back to burning and murdering

You gotta be extra careful because some of these folks come from a culture where 'honor killings' are a real thing.
