True, but the Clinton Foundation is headquartered in New York.
Not much better than DC, but maybe a little.

If Durham is actually working on a RICO case, I'm pretty sure he can file it in any federal jurisdiction where the alleged crime(s) were committed.

Quote from: Jim at Gentex on June 02, 2022, 08:09 AMJust throwing this out there...

There is rumor that Durham is actually putting together a RICO case against Hillary, Bill, and the Clinton Foundation as a whole.

The theory is that while a conviction against Sussman would have helped, his trial did get Baker and Mook on the record testifying that HRC was personally involved in the decision-making process to deliberately target Trump with the phony Russia / Steele dossier story which the media ran full-speed with ZERO fact-checking.

Dunno if there's anything to it, but it will be interesting to see if that is where it is going.

I'll be surprised if that's the case. He had no way of knowing ahead of time, Mook was going to be called to testify.

some other thoughts:
When Flynn was accused of lying to the FBI. it was a big deal to the same people who now, say it was no big deal (and visa versa)

most people don't think that the supreme court is unbiased. how could anyone expect that lower court judge or jury would be.

Politics has become a religion to many, maybe most. If a pastor says something that we don't believe, we just go to a different church that preaches what we believe. But in politics a party boss, says this is what we believe (this is our platform) we change our minds and find a way to justify that thought in our minds. I've seen this happen on abortion, LGBT, illegal immigration, marijuana, support\disdain for Russia and/or China, freedom of speech, freedom of religion, etc.  The problem for this is, when Party becomes our god people will do what ever they have to, to defend them.

sussman trial was interesting in that he was truly tried by his peers. Easy to say the judge and jurors were in league together without stretching any definition.
Being a Libertarian, it would actually be nice to see more cases brought where your actual peers are on the jury, which I'd venture to guess happens less than 1% of the time.

And that's why the commies ban religion.

But Communism is a religion. If you follow the rules, communism will feed you and give you protection.

Agreed.
And worse yet, it has become so polarized it seems there is ZERO middle-ground anymore.

Most people are either Team D or Team R.
Team Hillary or Team Trump.
Team (fill-in-the-blank) or Team (fill-in-the-blank).

Any issue where there is disagreement seems to divide people into two distinct camps, with very few people in the middle.

Yup. Sad. You see people from both sides doing the exact same thing and it's only ok when their guy or gal is doing it.

Politicians and the media's main goal is to keep us divided. If we could ignore it all we would probably find we all have a lot more in common.

I don't even know what 'libertarian' means anymore.  I see people claiming to be 'libertarian left'. Isn't that an oxymoron?  :D

What I mean is, I get shit on for not choosing one side or the other (incog?), not because of my "arguments". Not that a lot of my arguments wouldn't get shit on here.  You can't brag about having great arguments when you're sitting in an echo chamber.      :ba:

They are becoming obsolete. No one needs them anymore, we just google search.

I heard a good quote today. It wasn't about national politics, it was a police matter that was dismissed in court.

The prosecutor said "The court room is where conspiracy theories die because real evidence is required in a court of law."

There is a LOT of truth to that.

Hi guys. :)
