Excessive mangement is the bane of productivity and efficiency.

It's another reason I have personally eschewed management positions. The technical expertise I posess is not easily attained. It takes time and a lot of it.

Managers are a dime a dozen and it seems like every entitled shitbird with their toilet paper MBA on the wall strives to be one... as quickly as possible, and ALWAYS striving to jump steps... as many as possible. The more steps jumped, more often than not the bigger the shitbird.

Funny you should mention that. A really good friend got thrown under the bus at spaceX by a literal know nothing new manager.
 So in his job search he's finding lots of ex-spaceX colleagues interviewing him and mentioning said manager was trying to get jobs there. He didn't have anything to offer so never got the jobs.
